Putin says Russia wants to strengthen econ relations with Sudan

SOCHI, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Russia is interested in strengthening trade and economic relations with Sudan, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah Burhan late on Wednesday.

“We see prospects of strengthening trade and economic relations, we see good prospects. The key task is to diversify the trade flow, which would ensure a stable and sustainable trade volume rise,” Putin said.

Burhan said that Sudan expects to strengthen military and technical cooperation with Russia.
